350 Illegal Residents Arrested Across Israel Last Week, Police Say
Israeli Border Police arrest over 350 illegal Palestinian residents and 43 suspected accomplices nationwide, cracking down on infiltration.
Jerusalem, 10 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Border Police arrested more than 350 illegal Palestinian residents nationwide last week, along with 43 people suspected of assisting them, the police said on Sunday.
In the Jerusalem area alone, officers detained 167 illegal residents and 29 alleged accomplices. In the South, 74 illegal residents and four suspects were taken into custody. In the northern, central, and coastal sectors, security forces apprehended 113 illegal residents and 10 suspected accomplices.
The nationwide sweep was part of ongoing efforts to prevent infiltration and crack down on those who transport, harbor, or employ illegal residents, the police said.
