Jerusalem, 4 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The government of Israel Monday approved a decision to grant income tax credit points to those who served in the military reserves in combat units, in a graduated manner according to the number of days of actual service.

The move, said the government, is intended to grant income tax credit points to reserve soldiers who performed more than 30 days of service during the previous tax year, on a graduated basis and according to the actual scope of service, and they will be entitled to increasing tax benefits, up to a ceiling of four annual credit points – which can reach thousands of shekels per year.

prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “Today we are bringing additional benefits to reservists, who truly deserve everything that can be given. I want to thank the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Defense and their teams for this important addition.”
