US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar held their first private working meeting a short while ago.
A number of topics were raised at the meeting, including: strengthening relations with the Abraham Accords signatories, relocating embassies to Jerusalem, the legal challenges facing Israel and its right to self-defense, combating antisemitism, reinforcing bilateral and economic relations between the countries and implementing President Trump’s vision of connectivity (which includes Israel).
The two agreed to continue the discussion and set a date for the Foreign Minister’s visit to Washington in the near future.
