Israeli Lawmaker Physically Halts Aid to Gaza in Protest Over Hostages
Israeli lawmaker Yitzhak Kreuzer physically blocks aid to Gaza in protest over hostages. Accuses government of aiding Hamas while Israeli hostages suffer.
Jerusalem, 4 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli lawmaker Yitzhak Kreuzer physically blocked humanitarian aid trucks at the Allenby crossing with Jordan on Monday morning to protest the continued transfer of supplies to Gaza. Kreuzer called the aid policy “lawlessness,” accusing the government of giving Hamas “oxygen and fuel” while Israeli hostages remain in dire conditions.
“It is unthinkable that we are sending aid, food and medicine to Hamas, while our hostages are not receiving a single medicine,” said the Otzma Yehudit MK. Claiming the aid is misappropriated by Hamas, Kreuzer vowed to continue his struggle “until all the hostages return home and the aid no longer reaches Hamas.”
