50 Israelis Enter Nablus Without Authorization, Sent Back by Palestinian Authority
50 Israelis enter Nablus without authorization, sent back by Palestinian Authority. Allegations of stone-throwing investigated. Entry into Area A prohibited.
Jerusalem, 25 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Approximately 50 Israeli citizens entered the city of Nablus (Shechem) overnight without coordination with the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and in violation of the law. Shechem is where the Tomb of Joseph, one of the 12 sons of the Forefather Jacob, is located. It is in what is known as “Area A,” areas under the complete control of the Palestinian Authority (PA).
The citizens were handed over to Israeli security forces by the PA, reported the IDF.
In addition, allegations were made that the Israelis threw stones at houses in the city, without harming anyone.
The IDF said that these allegations will be investigated and dealt with accordingly and that the people in question were transferred to the police which will determine if any charges will be filed against them.
The IDF emphasized that entry of Israeli citizens into Area A is dangerous and prohibited by law.
