Jerusalem, 24 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A group of Women – patients and the “Pa’imot (Beats)” team at Israel’s Prisoner Rehabilitation Authority, the Women’s Rehabilitation Unit, went out this week for a special volunteer day as part of work with the “Leket Israel” association, which works to save quality food surpluses and transfers them to those in need. The group harvested vegetables on a farm.
“While dealing with challenging heat conditions and physical agricultural work, the entire group experienced giving to others and a sense of satisfaction and meaning,” said the Prisoner Rehabilitation Authority.
“Such activities contribute to creating beneficial lifestyles as part of a personal and group rehabilitation process,” it added.
